I'm watching the documentary More Than Honey, about the dying of bees all over the world. Jake and I have talked about owning some bees and watching this film makes me want to more than ever. So many are commercialized and poisoned with pesticides and all kinds of bad are happening to them everywhere (except, apparently, a small island near Australia, but that part was in German and there's no subtitles so I didn't get it all).
I hope to get this new job in New Mexico. I talk about getting an awesome home to decorate in teal and mustard and call it "Los Gatos." And I want to have a goat, some chickens, and some bees. But if I don't get it, than I'm going to move back to California and retreat from stress and sadness once again. And who knows, maybe I can get a nice job in SoCal, or go back to school. And then maybe I can have my bees.
Maybe I can study bees and abandon my dreams of being an astronaut. Maybe I should find out if I'm allergic to bee stings...
