My excuse is this: I actually stay really busy at work now and when I get home I'M WORKING OUT, and then I crash. I almost never get on my computer at home. I watch a few episodes of House, fall asleep on the couch, and then Jake yells at me to go to bed. Cycle.
Okay, let's see if I can even remember last week:
Monday I think I remember not making the morning Crossfit because I was put on a waiting list for signing up late. However, Like every other time, at 4:56 a.m. I get the email saying I got off the wait list and in the class. So I went to the 6:30pm class. It was good. I really like Daniel. I don't remember what we did. I think some running.
Tuesday was 5am Crossfit. I don't remember what it was. I could look these up but duh I'm lazy. I was exhausted probably from no sleep over the weekend plus back to back Crossfit classes (essentially, last class of the day Monday, first class of the day Tues). And then I went to work delirious from tiredness and still went home to run 4.23 miles (my Wash Park loop).
Wednesday I think I was supposed to run... I don't think I did though.
Thursday I made up my Mon AM class this day and woke at 4 to do the 5am class. What was I thinking? That also means I could have ran after work... but I don't think I did... What has been making me so lazy? I don't know what I did after work.
Friday No clue. Might have been nothing. Why am I doing nothing more than one day a week? Oh yeah, this was my day off (Thank you Canadian company celebrating Good Friday). SO I WENT TO CROSSFIT LATE MORNING. How good did THAT feel?! I remember it was pretty tough... I think we ran some. I kick ass at running btw. Crossfitters hate running so they all suck at it. I still wanted to run trails later, but I think I skipped feeling justified for doing a crossfit class. Have I told you how tired I've been lately?
Saturday I definitely ran. I went to meet my Boulder Breakfast Club running group at Lookout Mtn (Windy Saddle Parking Lot) for a 12 miler (I only planned half of that so I could make crossfit later. But when I got there, nobody was around and there weren't even many cars. I was only 10 min later than the meeting time, but a full 20 min before planned running time. No idea what happened. I ran anyway but only about 4.5 miles. I wasn't familiar enough with the trails to know where to go and how hard to go. It was okay. It was a bit chilly and I was really not in the mood to run. I told myself I'd do another run later in the day when the weather was NICE to make up for it. But we all know I wouldn't drive out to trails TWICE. My gas guzzler car is a no-no. And I could have done a neighborhood run... but yeah right. Oh, Crossfit at 10am was a technique class and we focused on Power Cleans and mainly Squat Cleans. I got more comfortable with a hook grip and I feel I have way better understanding of how Cleans should work. Then we did a WOD of running 200m + 5 Squat cleans, AMRAP in 15 min? I think I did 6 rounds... it was a little easy but not the point.
Sunday is considered "this week" but I slept all day. So whatever. Jake and I still woke up at 5am to drive over to Golden/White Ranch Park to do some filming for my trail running video (remember that guy from last year??) So hopefully he has time to finish that before next year. Sleeping was good though because I super needed it and it made Monday AWESOME. But more on that in a different post.
Totals (or whatever):
+ Strength: 5 hours (but probably 2.5 effective hours)
+ Running: 9ish miles, 1hr 40 min
